Prepare identity and source information
Banks, lawyers, developers or public authorities may require identification, address, source-of-funds and other compliance documents. The exact requirement should be confirmed with the party responsible for the relevant process.
Use traceable payment routes
Reservation, purchase and financing payments should follow the written transaction instructions and verified account details. Investors should independently confirm material payment instructions before transferring funds.
Arrange local transaction support where needed
A qualified lawyer, tax adviser or authorised representative may be useful depending on the structure of the purchase and the investor's circumstances. ARPIP information is not a substitute for that advice.
Plan handover and operation remotely
Inspection, snagging, furnishing, keys, utilities, management and owner reporting need a defined route if the owner will not be present. Those responsibilities should be agreed before completion.
